Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure optimal performance of all datacom platforms.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and escalate network issues when necessary, in collaboration with architects, product owners, or external partners.
- Communicate with stakeholders about incidents, scheduled works, or technical problems, confirming plans or resolutions as needed.
- Handle both planned and ad hoc maintenance activities of the data transport network.
- Maintain quality documentation and execute administrative tasks related to platform upkeep.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, ICT, telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- Strong operational knowledge of technologies such as SDH, DWDM, IP/MPLS, VOIP, and associated management systems.
- Previous experience as a Helpdesk Officer or Network Operations Engineer is considered a plus.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other language. English proficiency is also required.
- Able to work independently and set priorities under pressure.
- Analytical and communicative, with the ability to assess and convey technical impact clearly.
- Flexible and stress-resistant, ready to respond to unexpected operational challenges.
- Location: Brussels, hybrid (minimum 2 days/week onsite)
- Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Candidates working in Belgium must have a valid work and residence permit if non-EU.
