About The Role
Data Scientist plays a crucial role in guiding decisions related to both commercial and private customer journeys and their impact on business processes. This role provides valuable insights, enhance data analytics, test different hypotheses, and lead projects aimed at improving the efficiency of an organization.
You will be responsible for
- Serving as the advocate for customer and data insights within the organization, promoting the broader usage of findings.
- Utilizing advanced techniques like machine learning to analyse, predict, and provide insights into customer behaviour.
- Creating and maintaining churn models and recommendation systems.
- Predicting, experimenting, and doing statistical hypothesis testing such as A/B testing.
- Enhancing understanding of necessary data and data sources in the field of customer analytics.
- Investigating and proposing the usage of new data sources.
- Working with both structured and unstructured data, building datasets and generating reports for widespread organizational use.
- Engaging in projects, taking on leadership roles and collaborating with other units to enhance the efficiency of the organization.
- Strong interest in the field of Data Science and Data Engineering.
- Passion for working with numbers and leveraging large amounts of data to make informed business decisions.
- Proven work experience in an analytical, actuarial, or data science position.
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or IT.
- Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Python.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to understand one of the Baltic languages.
- Work experience in an Agile environment.
- Project management capabilities.
- Change management practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a passion for learning and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions in an international setting.
For stability
- Monthly salary: €3700-4500 gross, if you are employed in Lithuania; €2900-3700 gross, if you are employed in Latvia; €3600-4400 gross, if you are employed in Estonia*. Additionally, there is an annual bonus. (*Please note that the specific amount varies due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries.)
