Job Title: Application Architect / Senior Application Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect / Senior Application Developer to join a dynamic technology environment. This role focuses on designing, architecting, and delivering complex digital and cloud-based application solutions while working closely with technology teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners.

Mandatory Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Applications Architecture and Development
• Experience developing complex digital cloud solutions within the last two years

The following are list of key deliverables for this role:

• Engage with and support technology, support, and engineering teams as well as internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to prioritise business goals, information needs, and requirements in order to select, architect, and deliver the best solutions, technology, and value.
• Design and architect new application platforms across the organisation’s software and application environment, considering interdependencies across the overall environment.
• Interpret project and user requirements through meetings, documentation reviews, and stakeholder engagement to evaluate options and identify optimal architectural solutions.
• Produce clear architectural documentation, schematics, project workflows, and roadmaps.
• Participate in development and migration projects for new and existing platforms and systems (e.g., migration of case management solutions from legacy platforms to modern low-code platforms).
• Recommend operational controls by identifying issues and introducing and documenting improved procedures.
• Publish progress reports and actively monitor project delivery of architected solutions.
• Determine operational objectives by evaluating business functions, information requirements, and output formats.
• Ensure architected systems are delivered within legal, functional, and technical capabilities of the operational infrastructure.
• Collaborate with and manage delivery from third-party vendors to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.
