Your role

As a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d) in the IAM Team, you will drive the development of our authentication and authorization services. You bring together easy access for our customers with rock solid security services for our products including the necessary consulting of the engineering teams.

You will

Join a small, diverse team that owns one of Forto’s most consequently tested products
Own, together with the other members of the IAM team, several libraries and microservices (this includes some legacy)
Collaborate with different business teams to understand the challenges of our internal and external customers
Collaborate across different engineering teams to promote our insights from the domain of identity management as a platform engineer

What You Bring

While we work with Typescript, NestJs, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform and have developed custom extensions in Keycloak, we’re open to experience with different kinds of procedural languages (e.g., TypeScript, Java, Go)
Familiarity with building and operating microservices on one of the major public cloud platforms and the paradigms around this
Experience with, or an interest in building authentication, authorization, or in general identity management systems
A customer-oriented approach to engineering and a passion for making the life of other engineers more joyful
