Chief SAP CAP Developer (Node.js)

We are looking for a Chief SAP CAP Developer with expertise in Node.js to lead cloud native development initiatives on the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver software solutions spanning UI, backend, and database components
• Develop cloud native applications using SAP CAP with Node.js and TypeScript
• Create and sustain front-end modules utilizing SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Manage testing and deployment workflows within CI/CD pipelines
• Identify and resolve software defects to maintain high-quality output
• Collaborate with diverse global teams adhering to SAFe agile practices
• Support and improve lean development tools including Git, TeamCity, and Jenkins
• Evaluate system performance and refine distributed system design
• Engage in code reviews and share expertise to uphold standards
• Prepare documentation for software designs and technical details

Requirements

• Extensive experience in SAP CAP development with Node.js and TypeScript, over 3 years
• Proficient in cloud native development on SAP Business Technology Platform
• Skilled in front-end technologies including SAPUI5 and JavaScript
• Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies such as SAFe
• Understanding of lean development processes and tools like Git, TeamCity, Jenkins
• Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD environments
• Experience in Java programming is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for international collaboration
• Organized and goal-driven working style
• English proficiency at B2 level or above

Nice to have

• Experience with Three.js or React.js front-end frameworks
• Understanding of data processing frameworks and distributed system architectures
• Background in debugging and resolving complex system issues
