About the role:
A global Group Risk Management (GRM) function within a leading financial technology organization is seeking a Senior Specialist to support and further develop its Business Continuity & Crisis Management (BCM) program.
This role reports into the Head of Business Continuity & Crisis Management and works cross-functionally across the organization to ensure consistent adoption of BCM policies, processes, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with global business functions to maintain and evolve the enterprise-wide Business Continuity & Crisis Management program
- Support the development of BCM strategies, plans, tools, and methodologies to strengthen resilience and recovery capabilities
- Manage BCM lifecycle activities including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), plan reviews, testing, and ongoing maintenance
- Develop and deliver BCM and Crisis Management training and communications across the organization
- Design, facilitate, and debrief crisis simulations and mock exercises
- Maintain and update Crisis Management procedures in line with business requirements
- Aggregate and analyze BCM data to deliver actionable insights to senior management
- Support preparation of reports for management, risk committees, and governance forums
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, Supplier Risk Management, and other assurance functions
- Actively engage with peers across the global risk community to ensure alignment, consistency, and visibility of key risks and initiatives
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in Business Continuity and/or Crisis Management
- Experience in operational risk management, technology risk, or operational resilience is highly desirable
- Exposure to BCM platforms and tools is a plus
- Background in financial services, capital markets, or fintech preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across global teams
- Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
