Danske Bank is looking for a dedicated Business Risk and Controls Partner to enhance our Digital Assets strategy within the Transaction Banking and Large Corporates & Institutions domain. This role presents a significant opportunity to contribute to a transformative area of banking, where innovation intersects with compliance and risk management.
About The Role
In this position, you will be instrumental in conducting risk assessments covering Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance Risk and Data Risk related to digital assets, particularly in the context of crypto and blockchain technologies. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk management frameworks that align with our broader Digital Assets strategy.

You will:
- Act as a subject matter expert on risks associated with digital assets, including crypto and blockchain
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing digital asset products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure risk events are captured, assessed, and managed effectively
- Support business units in navigating regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to digital assets
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets and crypto
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance risk awareness across the organisation
- Engage with key stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on risk management strategies
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or related fields, preferably within the financial services sector or consulting, with a focus on risk management
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial services, including a developing interest in relevant legislation such as Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR)
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage risks associated with innovative financial products
- Proficient project management skills, with the capacity to pivot and address issues in an agile manner
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with a strong focus on execution and attention to detail
- Curiosity and interest in the digital assets world is appreciated, although practical experience is not mandatory
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
This position can be located both in Poland and Lithuania. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 3440 to 5160 EUR monthly (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Officer – Business Risk & Controls – Senior. From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Risk&Controls under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
