Fujitsu is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations & QoS Engineer to support a European Union Institution in Luxembourg. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and continuously improving Microsoft Azure–based cloud systems, ensuring high levels of reliability, performance, and security in accordance with EU standards.

🧠 Required Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience operating systems in a cloud environment, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or similar).
• Solid experience with monitoring tools, dashboards, and log aggregation systems.
• Good understanding of security, compliance, disaster recovery, and high-availability principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and concise management-level reports.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with development, security, and management teams.
• Adaptability to evolving technologies and operational tools.

🧩 Expertise (Mandatory)

• Operational experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations
• Practical experience with QoS / monitoring tools, such as:
• Azure native monitoring tools
• Prometheus / Grafana
• Elastic Stack
• Datadog or equivalent

🎓 Certifications

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (or equivalent) – required
• Additional certifications considered assets:
• DevOps certifications
• ITIL v4 Foundation
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD)
