The User Experience Specialist is responsible for driving the design and optimization of intuitive, accessible, and user‑centric interfaces across digital applications. This role focuses on identifying, analysing, clarifying, and communicating the context of use for applications, primarily in the area of user interfaces (UIs) and graphical user interfaces (GUIs). The specialist plays a key part in shaping product direction by defining and managing user experience and accessibility requirements for a diverse range of end users.


The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and visual designers to ensure the final user experience is consistent.


  • User & Context Research: Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and contextual inquiries to understand the environment, behaviours, and needs of all user groups.
  • Requirements Definition: Identify, document, and refine user experience requirements, accessibility needs, and usability expectations for new and existing applications.
  • UI Requirements Gathering: Work with cross‑functional teams to gather, validate, and translate UI/UX requirements into actionable design deliverables.
  • Prototyping & Wireframing: Create low‑ to high‑fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows, and mock‑ups using industry‑leading UI prototyping tools.
  • Usability Testing: Plan, execute, and evaluate usability tests to validate design decisions; document findings and recommend improvements based on user feedback and behaviour.
  • GUI Design: Design intuitive graphical user interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
  • Accessibility Compliance: Ensure designs meet WCAG and other relevant accessibility regulations; advocate inclusive design practices across teams.
  • Design Documentation: Produce clear and comprehensive UX documentation, including style guides, UI specifications, interaction patterns, and design rationale.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices to continuously enhance design quality and user satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of UX designs; support design reviews, sprint planning, and refinement sessions.


Mandatory Requirements

The candidate must meet the seniority‑level minimum required months/years of relevant experience in:

UI Prototyping Tools

  • (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, InVision, or equivalent)

Graphical Design Tools

  • (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or comparable visual design software)
