🧠What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong Talend expertise to support data integration and backend development activities within complex, data-driven environments.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and backend components, working closely with business, data, and IT stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and maintain Talend jobs for data integration, transformation, and migration
• Build and support backend components related to data ingestion, processing, and orchestration
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, third-party systems)
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability of data flows
• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, and implementation
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and project managers
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment activities
• Operate within structured delivery frameworks (Agile / Waterfall depending on project)

🛠️ Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer / Data Integration Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Talend (Data Integration, ETL)
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with APIs and data exchange mechanisms
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience in regulated or complex environments (financial services is a plus)
• Ability to work autonomously while integrating into multidisciplinary teams
• Good communication skills in English & French

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Exposure to data governance, data quality, or data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control)
