The Job

For our branch M-Cube NL we are seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Developer to join our growing product development team. As a key member, you will help design, build, and optimize the software that powers our digital signage solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers to deliver reliable and scalable applications.

Main responsibilities

• Build End-to-End Solutions: Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications using Laravel (PHP) on the backend and Vue.js/Nuxt on the frontend.
• Architect Infrastructure: Design, manage, and optimize Docker-based development and production environments to ensure consistency across the deployment pipeline.
• API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs within Laravel to power high-performance Nuxt applications.
• Frontend Excellence: Build reactive and performant user interfaces using TypeScript and the Vue/Nuxt ecosystem.
• DevOps & Automation: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure improvements to streamline deployment and monitor application health.
• Technical Leadership: Participate in architectural decisions, advocating for best practices in both the Laravel and Vue ecosystems.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, testable code (using tools like Pest/PHPUnit) and engage in meaningful code reviews.
• Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize database queries (Eloquent/SQL) and frontend rendering to ensure a seamless user experience.

Essential Skills

• PHP & Laravel Mastery: Deep understanding of Laravel’s core features (Eloquent, Service Containers, Queues, and Migrations).
• Modern Frontend Stack: Professional experience with Vue 3 (Composition API), Nuxt, and TypeScript.
• Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and Docker Compose for local development and deployment orchestration.
• Fullstack Mindset: Experience bridging the gap between server-side logic and client-side interactivity, including State Management (Pinia/Vuex).
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Nginx configuration, or cloud providers).
• Database Management: Experience designing and optimizing relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills with a willingness to mentor others and experiment with emerging technologies.
