About the Role:

For a multinational client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for the development and production of Machine Learning models.

Responsibilities:

• You will collaborate with a diverse product team including Data scientists, Data Analysts and ML engineers
• Together with your team you will define the problems and you will build models that create value for customers.
• You will utilise your expertise in recommendation systems to analyse large datasets, identify patterns and generate solutions.
• Lead A/B testing initiatives to evaluate the performance of various ML models and iterate for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated of the latest trends and advancements in data science, ensuring that Machine Learning systems and solutions remain state-of-the-art.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with production machine learning solutions;
• Having a good understanding of ML fundamentals and deep learning;
• Proven track record of successfully deploying your models in production and you understand the end-to-end ML flow;
• You have a good grasp of statistics and mathematics behind machine learning theories;
• Strong programming skills in Python and you have a good grasp of data manipulation with SQL;
• You have a deep understanding of A/B tests and their limitations;
