The Role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be the backbone of the Hengelo office’s IT operations. From troubleshooting computers and software to managing networks and office equipment, you’ll ensure teams can work smoothly and efficiently every day. Your expertise will help keep innovative projects on track and make technology effortless for everyone.

What You’ll Do

• Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up new computers (Windows/macOS) and office equipment.
• Monitor and maintain network performance and IT systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to corporate IT resources.
• Assist in IT procurement and ensure equipment is operational.
• Create guides and documentation to help staff use systems effectively.

What You Bring

• Degree in IT or a related field.
• 5+ years in a technical support/IT role with broad responsibilities.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, Active Directory experience, and virtualization knowledge.
• Experience with engineering software (CAD, PLM, CFD, etc.) a plus.
• Network configuration experience (switches, firewalls).
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Calm under pressure, proactive problem solver, and excellent communicator.
