We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology projects across multiple teams and stakeholders. The role focuses on end-to-end delivery ownership, strong stakeholder management, and effective coordination across parallel initiatives in dynamic environments.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of more projects and several cross-functional teams. You will ensure that delivery objectives are met within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality constraints, while maintaining transparency and trust with key stakeholders.
You will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and internal partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and adapt delivery approaches based on project context. The role requires a pragmatic mindset, the ability to balance competing demands, and confidence in managing complex stakeholder landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of medium to large projects or project portfolios, involving multiple teams working in parallel
- Plan and manage scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and risks across the full delivery lifecycle
- Ensure predictable and transparent delivery through effective tracking, reporting, and governance
- Lead stakeholder engagement at operational and senior levels, managing expectations and facilitating decision-making
- Coordinate priorities across teams to maximise value delivery and align outcomes with business objectives
- Proactively identify delivery risks and issues, define mitigation actions, and escalate when required
- Adapt delivery models (predictive, hybrid, agile) to suit project context and organisational needs
- Support continuous improvement in delivery practices, quality, and ways of working
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience (7+ years) delivering complex software development projects within large-scale, IT-enabled enterprise environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, workstreams, or projects concurrently
- Strong background in delivery management, including planning, execution, and control of scope, time, cost, and quality
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior and executive audiences
- Good understanding of agile and hybrid delivery approaches and experience applying them in practice
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain effective in complex and changing environments
- Fluency in Slovenian and English, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal contexts
- Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to senior level stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work in an adaptable and flexible environment.

- Project/Program management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications, etc)
- Experience working with distributed or cross-location international teams
- Exposure to scaled delivery environments or large transformation programmes
