THE ROLE
We are looking for a Mobile QA Engineer to join a long-term product team working on a popular mobile social networking application with video streaming, messaging, and real-time interactions. You will work closely with engineering teams and the Product Owner, taking ownership of mobile and API quality across the full release cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile (iOS & Android) and API testing
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation (checklists, test cases)
- Support the development team and Product Owner in all QA-related activities
- Work with product requirements together with the team during backlog refinement
- Participate in and conduct sprint demos and stakeholder demos
- Active participation in the Release candidates testing session and holding them while a team is responsible for the release management over the sprint
- Ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle
Technical Skills
- 3+ years of production QA experience, including experience with Mobile testing (both iOS and Android devices) and API testing
- Strong experience with Charles Proxy
- Confident use of Postman for API testing
- Hands-on work with Android Studio and ADB
- Proven ability to create and maintain QA documentation, including checklists and test cases
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- Product-oriented and collaborative mindset, effective in Agile cross-functional environments
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of quality
- Ready to take responsibility for releases, not just test execution
- Self-driven and proactive, able to operate independently within a defined framework
- English proficiency: Upper-intermediate and above
- Experience working with TestRail
- Load testing experience
- WEB testing experience
- Localization testing
- Experience with app configurations
- Experience working with product requirements
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with Xcode
