We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to expand our presence in Europe. In this role you’ll drive multiple construction projects of our clinics, manage relationships with key stakeholders and create benchmarks for success. Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage flagships construction projects in Europe. Own and drive each project from coordination of design, tender process, through construction to opening and site handover.
- Manage workload of the teams involved in the design and constructions on regional level.
- Ensure alignment with expansion forecast of new flagships openings and operational objectives and goals.
- Review and approve all CAPEX budgets before presentation to the senior management for executive approval.
- Cost and budget management as well as approving additional spending if needed.
- Engage and align with the external and internal stakeholders (e.g. country manager, medical directors, etc.) to mitigate escalations, communicate regional needs, and ensure alignment.
- Escalate critical issues when needed, ensuring project milestones are delivered.
- Be responsible for the maintenance/remodeling of the clinics (e.g. due to new policies, improvements, strategic decisions).
What you need to be successful:
- Educational background in Architectural Design or Engineering, alternatively, relevant work experience.
- Strong technical understanding to allow engagement with contractors and development teams. Ability to understand design drawings in detail including knowledge and experience of coordinating architecture and engineering disciplines (consultants, 3rd party providers and local teams).
- Relevant healthcare or retail construction experience working with local building code, zoning, and other applicable laws.
- Understanding of project scheduling and the ability to communicate and work closely with consultants to ensure that project milestones are being met on time and complete.
- Experience of owning multiple projects and a proven track record of delivering against predeterminate requirements in a timely manner. Excellent prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are a real team leader and speak fluent/professional English. Any other languages are a plus (German/French/Swedish/Italian/Portuguese).
- Willingness to travel across Europe extensively.
