Cyber Security Engineer (Application Security)

Payten is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who will manage company security controls for protection, detection, against internal and external threats.

Responsibilities

Dynamic and Static Code Analysis:

Analyze software vulnerabilities using tools like Fortify.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure compliance with security standards in code.

Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management:

Conduct regular penetration tests on web and mobile applications.

Analyze penetration test reports and determine necessary improvement actions.

Maintain active communication and coordination with penetration testing firms.

Vulnerability Management and Security Flaw Analysis:

Perform vulnerability analysis using tools such as Nessus, Netsparker, and Qualys.

Prioritize identified vulnerabilities, develop remediation plans, and track their implementation.

Cybersecurity Standards and Processes:

Join / Manage compliance processes in line with frameworks such as COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO 270XX .

Actively participate in SSDLC (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) processes to ensure security reviews.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare technical and operational reports for management and teams.

Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for security processes.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity and application security.
Advanced knowledge of penetration testing, dynamic and static code analysis.
Experience with standards such as COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/27034.
Proficiency in using security tools like Nessus, Netsparker, Fortify, and Burp Suite.
Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and SANS/CWE security principles.
Basic knowledge of programming languages used in application development (Java, .NET, Python, etc.) is an advantage.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and improving processes.
Preferred: Possession of security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GWAPT.
