We’re looking for a driven and experienced People Relations Specialist who will focus on Work Environment to join our team in an exciting time where you will be able to drive change and make an impact daily. You will work as a People Relations Specialist for the Swedish Support Office, a team that supports all stores within the Swedish sales market. You will work both independently and together with the rest of our central HR team, but also closely together with other managers and employees within the market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be a part and lead different projects to secure that legal requirements are met connecting to work environment and also labour law
- Improve and develop processes, guidelines, tools and routines within Health and Work Environment for H&M Sweden AB
- Work with and support HR and managers in rehabilitation processes and other in individual employee cases
- Close collaboration and building strong relationship with unions and our work environment representatives and union representatives
- Be able to lead central negotiations and support managers in local negotiations
- Creating good teamwork with external partners and our Employer Organization (Svensk Handel)
- Training managers in work environment and labour law
- Supporting the business with People Relation questions
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to support the successful expansion of the business. You will work both independently and as part of the People Relations Team, ensuring compliance with labour law and workplace environment regulations. The People Relations Team is part of the central HR function and works closely with HR across various areas, as well as with managers and employees throughout the market.
WHO YOU ARE
To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in People Relations and/or have previously worked in similar roles which involved gathering extensive knowledge of work environment. You must be confident to make decisions that support evolving the business and you must have high integrity. We are looking for someone who, when faced with a problem, is solution-oriented and pragmatic in their approach. We are looking for a curious team player who is eager to learn, and someone who strives to build great relationships and collaborations internally and externally.
You will also have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the HR area of work environment
- Experience in labor law and leading negotiations and have a track record of building good relationships with the union and safety representatives
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant academic field or equivalent work experience
- Clear communication skills including written and verbal skills in English and Swedish
- Experience in setting and implementing strategies and/or projects
- An analytic and reflective mind-set
- Experience within Retail is an advantage
