In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of advanced nuclear power projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Accountabilities
- Lead a portfolio of new nuclear power plant development and delivery projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Drive consistent use of project management and controls systems.
- Establish a clear operating cadence for progress and risk visibility.
- Identify cross-project risks and resource constraints, providing clarity and resolution.
- Provide decision-ready reporting to executive leadership.
- Define and implement a phase-gate governance model for disciplined decision-making.
- Establish PMO standards, procedures, and performance frameworks.
- Build robust portfolio risk management practices.
- Serve as a liaison with regulators, clients, and strategic partners.
- Lead and develop a high-performing organization of project teams.
- 15+ years in project management for large-scale capital infrastructure projects, with significant nuclear experience preferred.
- Experience leading large, complex nuclear projects within a matrixed PMO environment.
- Oversight of a portfolio with significant financial value.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business; MS/MBA preferred.
- Expertise across nuclear project development and delivery phases.
- Strong contracting experience with EPCs and major vendors.
- Proven track record of implementing governance and management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of U.S. NRC regulatory regimes; DOE experience a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and meetings.
