Job Title: PHP / Laravel Developer

Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)

Location: Gateshead

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for a talented Laravel Developer to join our clients growing development team. You’ll be working on building, maintaining, and improving modern web applications using Laravel and related technologies.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and maintaining Laravel-based applications
• Writing clean, scalable, and well-tested code
• Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other developers
• Integrating third-party APIs and services
• Contributing to technical decisions and improving existing systems

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with Laravel and PHP
• Solid understanding of MySQL (or similar relational databases)
• Experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (Blade, Livewire, Vue, or similar)
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

• Experience with Laravel packages such as Livewire, Nova, or Horizon
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms
• Experience working in an Agile environment
