Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Develop and own the product roadmap for the product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for innovation.
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
Feature Development and Prioritization
- Collaborate with customers, sales, and marketing teams to gather feedback and translate it into clear product requirements.
- Work with engineering teams to prioritize and deliver features on time and within scope.
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to guide development.
Market Placement and Pricing Strategy
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define pricing models and placement strategies that maximize market adoption and profitability.
- Conduct competitive analysis to position products effectively within the market.
- Work with finance to establish pricing structures that align with business goals and customer value propositions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to create compelling messaging, sales enablement materials, and go-to-market strategies.
- Work with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams.
Customer-Centric Focus
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, use cases, and success metrics.
- Advocate for the customer’s voice in all product decisions to ensure the product delivers measurable value.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to gather ongoing feedback.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in IoT, edge computing, or SaaS platforms. Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, microservices/APIs, and AI/ML concepts is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex technology products.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar product management platforms.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable using tools such as Slack, Confluence, SharePoint and Copilot
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
