Software Application Manager

Position Overview

Newland NPT is seeking an Application Manager for our Product Technology Center, focused on the APAC market. You will be responsible for translating regional market demands into viable technical products. Serving as a critical technical bridge between local market, the China R&D center, and end clients, this role is ideal for a professional with deep payment technology expertise, local market knowledge, and a proven ability to drive product delivery. This is an on-site role based in Singapore, reporting to overseas innovation team in China.

Key Responsibilities

1. Resposible for the end-to-end custom development and optimization of payment products for key markets such as SEA region. Integrate local market requirements to build rapid-response mechanisms and create integrated system-and-application solution frameworks.
2. Drive the development of cross-border payment platforms and support the integration of SDKs/APIs for global payment routing platforms.
3. Collaborate closely with the China R&D center to establish and operate a "Product Strategy + Global Adaptation + Rapid Local Delivery" hub model.
4. Act as the a liaison between regional business stakeholders and the R&D team of HQ in China, facilitating effective requirement reviews and product development cycles.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of product R&D experience in payments, financial transactions, or a closely related field.
3. Proven hands-on experience with local payment methods in APAC region, including localization, integration, and optimization.
4. Strong background in Android smart POS application development and optimization is highly desirable.
5. olid project management skills with a track record of assisting in productization and successful market launch.
6. Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and teams.
