Job Summary

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The role focuses on ensuring scalability, security, availability, and cost efficiency of cloud environments while supporting application and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Implement and manage compute, storage, networking, and database services
  • Looking for a candidate who is capable of establishing a data Lakehouse to enhance customer data access with improved ease, speed and security.
  • Looking for a candidate who has played a key role in administering Microsoft 365 Administration (Entra or Active Directory, Exchange, Security, Endpoint) for clients, maintaining a good security record with no incidents.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
  • Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization
  • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues
  • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams
  • Maintain documentation and operational runbooks
  • Participate in cloud migrations and modernization initiatives


Required Skills & Technical Competencies

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
  • AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)
  • Azure (VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure AD, Monitor)
  • GCP (Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls)
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
