Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer with strong experience in end-to-end iOS application development, including successfully shipping apps to the Apple App Store. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in mixed Swift and Objective-C codebases, has hands-on experience with accessibility features, and follows modern testing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Own the full app lifecycle, from development through App Store submission and post-release support
- Work within mixed-language codebases and contribute to modernization efforts
- Implement and maintain accessibility features, including VoiceOver, ensuring inclusive user experiences
- Write and maintain unit tests, following testing best practices to ensure code quality and stability
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver robust features
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed
- Senior-level experience in iOS development
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
- Proven experience delivering and publishing apps to the Apple App Store
- Hands-on experience with iOS accessibility, specifically VoiceOver
- Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest) and testing best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience refactoring or modernizing legacy Objective-C code
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS apps
- Experience working in distributed or remote teams
