Senior Front-End Engineer

Senior Front-End Engineer | Insurtech

A fast-growing Series B insurance technology company is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to build high-quality, user-focused web applications. You’ll work closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver responsive, performant, and maintainable front-end systems that support both customer-facing and internal workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and enhance web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features
• Ensure applications are high-performance, accessible, and reliable across devices
• Contribute to the design system and front-end architecture, improving consistency and scalability
• Implement best practices for testing, CI/CD, and code quality
• Work closely with AI and data teams to integrate advanced workflows and real-time interactions
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering best practices and a collaborative culture

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6+ years of experience building and maintaining production front-end applications
• Strong expertise in React or Next.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling
• Solid understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar) and component-driven design
• Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs
• Care deeply about usability, performance, accessibility, and clean, maintainable code
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience with enterprise or data-intensive SaaS products
• Familiarity with WebSocket-based interactions, real-time UI, or AI-assisted workflows
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or other design systems
• Interest in applying AI to augment human workflows in regulated industries
