Position Overview
The DevOps Manager will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our CI/CD infrastructure, cloud operations, and automation initiatives. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to manage a growing team of DevOps engineers while driving operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines that accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality and security standards
- Manage cloud infrastructure across cloud infra (aws) ensuring reliability, cost optimization, and security compliance
- Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and configuration management tools
- Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to ensure system reliability and uptime
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance the DevOps toolchain
- Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure, tools, and team resources
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or related technical roles
- 2+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture transformation
- Experience scaling DevOps practices in high-growth or enterprise environments
