Senior Android Engineer / Custom Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Android specialist to join a high‑impact engineering team working on a major digital transformation programme. This is an opportunity to lead technical decisions, shape delivery standards, and build innovative software that makes a real difference. The role is initially a 3 month contract and will be hybrid. Work Mode: 20% Hybrid – work from office based in Buckinghamshire, with the remainder remote.

• Design and implement high‑quality Android applications and custom software solutions.
• Own components end‑to‑end, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to integrate services and unblock delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practice, and raise engineering standards.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them grow and develop.
• Champion modern frameworks, agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
