Information Security Analyst
Birmingham or Leeds | Hybrid
18 Month FTC | £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Crone Corkill are partnered with a UK Law firm as they look to add an Information Security Analyst to the business on an initial 18 month fixed term contract. This is an important hire as they look to bridge the gap between Compliance and IT, with you being responsible for ensuring security compliance and best practice is maintained across both departments.
A key aspect of the role is to ensure the ongoing maintenance of their ISO27001 accreditation, including audits in line with ISO27001 and the of testing policies & procedures.
Please note that experience working within the Legal sector in a relevant position is essential for this hire. If you do not have this experience, you will unfortunately not be considered.
What will you do as an Information Security Analyst?
- Maintain accreditations, including ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and NIST
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against threats
- Collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure alignment to security frameworks, policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain security best practice and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Assist with data gathering requirements in line with Data Subject Access Requests
- Develop and maintain IT security policies, procedures and standards
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Conduct periodic vulnerability, risk and endpoint assessments
What skills do you need as an Information Security Analyst?
- Experience working within the Legal sector
- Strong knowledge of ISO27001
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials (and/or CE+), GDPR and NIST
- Proficiency in SIEM, EDR, XDR tools
- Conducting ongoing assessments (vulnerability, risk, endpoint, etc)
- Monitoring, analysing, and escalating security incidents
