NOC Engineer
Onsite - Rugby (24/7 Network Operations Centre)
We are recruiting for a NOC Technician to join a 24/7 Network Operations Centre based onsite in Rugby.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in network operations, rather than treating the position as a short-term step. Everyone starts within the NOC, with progression into more senior technical roles driven by performance, commitment, and capability over time.
The Role
As a NOC Technician, you will support live customer networks in a structured operational environment. This is not a project-based or traditional network engineering role. The focus is on monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and escalation, ensuring services remain stable and operational around the clock.
What’s in it for you?
- Starting salary from £27,000
- Salary increases to £30,000 after year one under a tiered structure
- £1 per hour uplift for night shifts, typically adding £1,000–£2,000 per year
- Performance-based company bonuses
- Clear progression framework into senior technical roles, including opportunities beyond the NOC
- Training and development opportunities from day one
What we’re looking for
- An IT, networking, or technical background with basic troubleshooting skills
- A responsible and methodical approach to working on live systems
- Clear communication skills and the ability to follow structured operational processes
- A genuine interest in building a career in network operations
Graduate, junior, and early-career candidates are welcome, provided they are committed to shift-based work and long-term progression.
