Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Python Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. Our goal is to transition the SRT from a shared instance to a dedicated Database. Our team will set up and migrate the data in Cloud.gov.
Responsibilities
- Updates to System Security Plan (SSP)
- Development and maintenance the SRT Architecture, Application UI and interfaces on Cloud.gov
- Patch Vulnerabilities
- Maintain, enhance and develop interfaces
- Maintain and enhance SRT
- Maintain Sage Maker as it relates to the SRT application
- Maintain a python scraper, Angular UI, and a NodeJS backend
- Handle Docker container app deploys onto cloud.gov
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related discipline or a minimum of 3 years relevant specialized experience.
- This position requires a minimum of three (3) years’ experience, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized.
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of NodeJS, Angular, Docker
- Database management experience
- Experience with cloud.gov
- Knowledge of API’s and system maintenance
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Documenting details of task requirements, work completed, etc.
- Full Stack Development- 60-70% backend and 30-40% frontend
- Sage Maker experience
- Angular version 15
- Node version 16, with ability to upgrade to 18
- Python version 3.10
- US citizenship
- Ability to obtain a GSA public trust clearance
