We're looking for a Data Analyst with strong analytical capability and a pragmatic mindset to support critical data initiatives. This program is a great opportunity to be part of a large-scale transformation initiative focused on simplifying platforms, strengthening data integrity, and delivering better outcomes for customers and regulators.
This role is ideal for an analyst who enjoys working with complex datasets, partnering with stakeholders, and driving clarity in environments where data quality, accuracy, and trust really matter.
The Role
- Analyse large, complex datasets using SQL, Excel, and Python to support decision-making
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across multiple systems
- Identify data issues, inconsistencies, and gaps — and work through solutions with technology, risk, and business teams
- Support reporting and insights for senior stakeholders, ensuring data is accurate, traceable, and fit-for-purpose
- Contribute to data remediation activities where required, including impact analysis, correction logic, and validation of fixes
- Document findings, assumptions, and outcomes to support governance, audit, and regulatory expectations
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, joins, reconciliations)
- Advanced Excel skills (large datasets, formulas, reconciliation models)
- Working experience with Python for data analysis, validation, or automation
- Solid understanding of data quality, data integrity, and analytical best practices
- Ability to explain data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in large, complex organisations or enterprise programs is highly regarded
- Previous data remediation experience (e.g. fixing historical data issues, audit responses, regulatory programs, migrations)
- Exposure to financial services, banking, or regulated environments
- Experience reconciling data across multiple source systems
- Familiarity with governance, controls, or risk-led data work
- Be part of a high-profile transformation program with real customer and regulatory impact
- Work on meaningful data challenges where accuracy and integrity matter
- Collaborate with experienced analysts, engineers, and domain experts
- Gain exposure to enterprise-scale data environments and complex problem-solving
