- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-impact features
- Participate in code reviews, system maintenance, and technical decision-making
- Investigate and resolve production issues and customer-reported problems
- Take ownership of projects and drive them forward in a fast-moving environment
- Continuously grow your skills by seeking feedback, learning our systems, and applying best practices
Who we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Golang and building production-grade backend systems
- Strong experience with REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and system integrations
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and data modelling
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git)
- Openness to working with other tech stacks
- Product-minded problem solver who enjoys working on real customer problems
- Clear communicator and collaborative team player, comfortable working fully remotely
- Self-driven learner who adapts quickly to new systems and tools
- Open mindedness and readiness to include prompt engineering in the daily work
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT-based tools)
Nice to have:
- Experience in integrations related to payroll systems or hospitality solutions such as POS, tip management, or online ordering platforms
- Familiarity with hospitality labour law compliance requirements in Australia, the US, or Canada (e.g., overtime rules, penalty calculations, tip pooling)
Our Commitment and Culture:
- Opportunity: Our products are evolving rapidly, creating genuine opportunities to grow your skills and shape meaningful solutions. You’ll be trusted to own your work and supported as you develop your career.
- Challenge: We solve complex, real-world problems in a fast-moving industry. You’ll think critically, move with purpose, and build systems that restaurants rely on every day.
- Culture: We value collaboration, curiosity, and momentum. Guided by our mission, we celebrate wins, learn from challenges, and create space for shared growth — while having fun along the way
