Data Management Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development & Analysis:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports for clients across various industries.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive and effective Power BI visualizations and reports.
• Build and maintain efficient data models and queries using DAX, Power Query, and other BI tools.
• Automate data workflows to optimize reporting processes and reduce manual intervention.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Power BI reports for performance and accuracy.

Management Consulting:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives.
• Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations that drive business improvements.
• Develop comprehensive business strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Lead workshops and presentations with clients to deliver actionable findings.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving strategies.

Client Engagement & Communication:

• Work closely with clients to gather and define project requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients and senior management.
• Communicate technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on using Power BI for ongoing reporting and data analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure consistency and alignment between business goals, data strategy, and Power BI solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Power BI, data analytics, and management consulting.
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices, templates, and methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development, data analysis, and business consulting.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience working with management teams to define business strategies and operational improvements.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
• Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data integration tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is advantageous.

Consulting Skills:

• Strong business acumen and understanding of management consulting methodologies.
• Ability to synthesize complex data and business problems into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience in leading workshops, presentations, and client meetings.
