The CTO owns the company’s technology platform, reliability and technical execution in a regulated fintech/crypto environment. The role leads infrastructure and IT teams and vendors, ensures availability and scalability of production systems and implements approved security and ICT controls. The CTO supports regulatory audits and escalates material technology risks within established governance frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Own overall technology platform in operational company and platform maintenance.
• Ensure availability, scalability and reliability of production systems.
• Lead infrastructure and IT teams and technical vendors communication.
• Own implementation of approved ICT and security controls.
• Ensure secure and resilient custody / processing technology.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and critical technology vendors.
• Execute board-approved ICT and technology risk strategy.
• Support regulatory audits by providing technical evidence and explanations.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in software engineering, including senior leadership roles (CTO / VP Engineering/Head of Engineering).
• Strong background in infrastructure and IT.
• Cloud-native experience (AWS).
• Understanding of security, custody and key-management concepts (oversight level).
• Experience working with auditors and regulators.
• Process-driven, documentation-oriented mindset.
