Summer Trainee, Data Scientist

We are now looking for a

Summer Trainee, Data Scientist

You will be part of Optimization team in Espoo, Finland. We offer flexible working time and remote working opportunities but we expect you to be at the Espoo office 3 days a week.

We are looking for a student with ongoing studies in data science or similar, to work for 2-4 months between May and September 2024, based on your availability and preference.

You will be providing hands-on support in various cloud-based people flow analytic activities and energy efficient elevator group control development. The role and responsibilities will be tailored according to business needs and your own skills and preferences.

In order to be successful in this role, you preferably have

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or other relevant field
• Experience in data science including tools like SQL and Python
• Familiarity with AWS services
• Experience in Power BI for data visualizations
• Good analytical skills, independent and cooperative approach to work
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
