About the role

As a Product Designer at flatexDEGIRO, your main responsibility is to create intuitive and consistent user experiences that support our mission to “Simplify the complex.”

You will play a key role in shaping our digital products by contributing to a scalable design system and collaborating closely with Product, IT, Marketing, and business stakeholders. Your work will help ensure fast execution, clarity, and high-quality experiences across our platforms.

What tasks can you expect with us?

Design & Delivery

• Create high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes, and demos
• Translate low-fidelity sketches and wireframes into polished digital experiences
• Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Clearly communicate design decisions and specifications to development teams

Research & Validation

• Define research questions and support qualitative and quantitative user research
• Validate hypotheses and design solutions based on user insights
• Support measurement plans to evaluate the performance of new features and iterations

Collaboration & Feedback

• Work closely with product experience managers, developers, marketing, and business stakeholders
• Balance feedback and requirements throughout design iterations
• Review and provide constructive feedback on other designers’ work, supporting team growth

What do we want from you?

• University degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in UX/Product Design for consumer-facing digital products
• Experience in the financial services or trading environment, with general knowledge of financial products
• Strong background in both web and mobile design, including complex data visualization
• Hands-on experience with design systems (as a user and/or creator)
• Experience in inclusive design, accessibility, localization, and universal design principles
• Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, and rapid prototyping tools
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with UX research methods and usability testing
• Experience working in early-stage or strategic product phases
• Very good written and spoken English
• Confident use of common Office applications
