I am urgently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Architect (Android) to join a leading organisation within the insurance sector, based in Dublin City Centre.

This is a 6-month contract offering circa €700 per day rate, working on large-scale, customer-facing mobile platforms.

The Role

As Mobile Architect, you will take ownership of the mobile application architecture, providing technical leadership across mobile development teams while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will work closely with engineering, cloud, and product teams to help shape the future mobile strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the mobile architecture for Android applications
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams
• Design scalable, secure mobile solutions integrated with AWS cloud services
• Ensure best practices around performance, security, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cloud, backend, and DevOps teams
• Support delivery in a regulated insurance environment

Required Experience

• Proven experience in a Mobile Architect or Senior Mobile Engineering role
• Strong Android development background
• Solid experience designing solutions using AWS
• Experience working on enterprise-scale mobile applications
• Strong understanding of mobile security and architecture patterns
• Experience in insurance or regulated environments is highly desirable
