Embedded Software Engineer – Display Systems

The Function

You’ll develop embedded software for advanced display modules and driving boards, working with architects and cross‑functional teams to turn requirements into solid designs and implementations. You take ownership of your components, follow structured processes, create unit and integration tests, and understand the hardware behind the software. Your proactive, hands‑on approach helps drive successful project delivery.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate with software architects and engineers from other disciplines to develop software implementations for various projects.
• Create detailed embedded software designs and implement software for display modules and display driving boards based on defined requirements.
• Develop unit and integration tests to validate software functionality.
• Understand hardware functionality and integrate this knowledge into software design and implementation.
• Follow structured procedures to design and implement software and software tests.
• Act as a software component owner, demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and a results‑driven mindset.
• Engage independently with architects on technical and conceptual topics.

Your Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Embedded C.
• At least 2 years of experience with AUTOSAR OS.
• At least 2 years working according to ASPICE SWE.3, SWE.4, and SWE.5 processes.
• Experience with electronic designs.
• Experience with tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Experience creating unit and interface tests.
• Experience with Easy Redmine, Tessy/Unity, and Tortoise SVN/GIT is considered a plus.

• Comfortable working in projects with fixed delivery deadlines.
• Accurate and punctual working style.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to Asia.
