Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also offer a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. The technology empowers customers with a wide range of innovative applications such as improving sports performance, continuous and non-invasive patient monitoring, ovulation tracking, sleep analysis or early detection of diseases.
The company develops, manufactures, and markets all solutions at our headquarters in Zürich-Rümlang.
To get additional support for our IT team, we are looking for an IT Intern.
Location: Rümlang, CH.
Workload: 80–100%.
Starting date: preferably February 2026.
Tasks
- First-Level Technical Support - Provide helpdesk support to users, troubleshoot basic hardware, software, application, connectivity, and device issues, and escalate complex incidents when required.
- Hardware and Software Setup - Prepare, install, configure, and maintain user hardware and software to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing operations.
- System Maintenance and Monitoring - Support routine system updates, patching, backups, data storage procedures, and monitor system performance, status, and alerts.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management - Create, update, and maintain IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, configurations, knowledge base articles, and user documentation.
- Process Improvement and Automation - Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, user guides, asset inventory, and support basic process automation initiatives.
- IT Projects and Security Awareness - Participate in small IT projects, research emerging tools or technologies, and support basic cybersecurity awareness and policy implementation.
Requirements
Specific Skills & Competencies
- Basic IT technical knowledge (hardware, OS, networking).
- Interest in scripting or automation.
- Good communication and service mindset.
- Detail-oriented documentation.
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
- Interest in cybersecurity and best practices.
- Languages: English C1, German/French or Italian is an advantage.
