How Will You Make An Impact
Are you passionate about compliance, business ethics and processes improvement? Do you have a genuine interest in delving into the variety of projects that the Cartier International Risk & Compliance Team based in Meyrin (Switzerland) has to offer?
As an International Compliance Sr. Project Manager, you will assist the department in ensuring that transversal Maison projects are successfully led.
Cartier International Risk & Compliance team reports to the Maison CFO and mainly covers the following scope of responsibilities:
- Business compliance, covering Cartier internal rules, procedures, control framework and business processes.
- Regulatory compliance, related to the adherence to external laws and regulations relevant to the activities of the Maison.
- Risk management, which consists in the identification of the strategic risks for the Maison through an ERM approach, and the definition of relevant mitigation plans.
Develop Maison Regulatory Compliance Programs
- Develop Maison compliance programs, including anti-money laundering and antitrust, with the aim to reflect the compliance principles established by the Richemont Group
- Design and maintain comprehensive implementation strategies that align organization strategies and regulatory demands of the jurisdictions where the Maison operates
- Assess risks, identify gaps, share best practices and propose actionable improvements
- Lead and coordinate compliance improvement projects mainly related to boutiques activities, to ensure the consistent development and implementation across all Cartier markets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Commercial, HR, Digital teams etc. to ensure a seamless project execution
- Track progress, communicate timelines, and escalate risks to ensure timely projects completion
- Perform control testing related to key Maison compliance risks (Know Your Customer, gifting processes, cash management, etc.)
- Identify deficiencies, areas of improvement, support and challenge local Management with developing remediation plans
- Develop and report key regulatory compliance KPIs on a regular basis
- You have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Compliance or Internal Control functions with a Master’s Degree in law, finance or similar qualification / or Business School.
- You have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks applicable to retail activities.
- You are able to organize a daily workload by priorities and demonstrate proven organizational & project management skills.
- You’re driven with the daily passion to cultivate high ethical standards and integrity to actively role model the Cartier’s compliance standards.
- You have a digital and data interest (SAP or Analytics knowledge would be a plus).
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact/collaborate within a team.
- You are able to manage stress and confidentiality with a high-level of discretion.
- You are at ease multitasking and rapidly adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- As a strong partner to the team, you can easily evolve with a variety of topics ensuring support, transparent communication, and close follow ups.
- You are fluent preferably in multiple languages with spoken and written English mandatory (French and any other language would be a plus).
