We are seeking a Technical Product Owner for our Technology team based in Timisoara, Romania working on a hybrid basis.
In this role, you will be the technical leader for our client-facing platforms, bridging the gap between product strategy and technical implementation. You will own the technical backlog, shape and drive the delivery of platform features, and ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Technical Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Product department to translate product vision into technical reality, while working hands-on with engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions for our customers worldwide.Core Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in technology;
- Ability to write clear, testable user stories and technical acceptance criteria;
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodology and principles;
- Excellent communication skills with ability to bridge technical and business conversations;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders;
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar;
- Knowledge of software application development lifecycle and processes;
- Ability to balance technical excellence with business value and time-to-market;
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities;
- Comfortable working across time zones with distributed teams.

- Own and prioritize the technical backlog for client-facing platforms, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and technical excellence;
- Define technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with appropriate technical depth;
- Evaluate and balance technical debt against feature delivery, advocating for platform stability and scalability;
- Partner with the Product department to understand customer needs and translate product requirements into technical solutions;
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine the technical backlog, ensure stories are ready for development, and unblock technical challenges;
- Work with UX/UI teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal implementation of customer experience;
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to ensure platform reliability and compliance;
- Engage with customer-facing teams to understand technical pain points and platform performance issues;
- Provide technical direction and clarification to engineering teams during sprints;
- Monitor platform performance, uptime, and customer experience metrics;
- Communicate technical progress, risks, and dependencies to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Translate complex technical concepts for Product teams and business stakeholders;
- Present technical roadmaps and architecture decisions to senior leadership;
- Manage expectations and negotiate scope with stakeholders while maintaining technical integrity;
