The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualisation and business intelligence, leveraging tools and technologies from MSFT, AWS, or open-source platforms. The BI Developer will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, creating compelling visualisations, and supporting decision-making processes across the organisation.

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain BI reporting suites, including dataflows, semantic models, frontend reports, dashboards, and BI solutions.
- Develop, produce, and deliver one-off management information to provide insights and aid decision-making.
- Design and create data visualisations using appropriate techniques and tools , adhering to UI/UX best practices.
- Source, prepare, and integrate data for analysis from diverse business and operational processes.
- Create and deliver standard and custom reports in accordance with stakeholder needs.
- Operationalise and automate the production of data visuals for efficient and timely delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders to prototype and refine visualisations and reports.
- Ensure data quality and integrity to provide confidence in decision-making.
- Contribute to the exploration and experimentation of new data visualisation approaches.
- Collaborate with Data Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into visualizations.
- Advise on the appropriate use of data visualisation tools and techniques for different purposes and contexts.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as MSFT Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or open-source frameworks like D3.js.
- Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools, including SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions based on Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or open-source databases like PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data modeling and data integration techniques to ensure data quality.
- Ability to design and implement dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
- Knowledge of DAX queries and SQL-like programming.
- Knowledge of data modelling and data integration techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience (Minimum 2 years of experience as BI developer)
- Certification in relevant technologies such as Microsoft Certified:
- Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, or equivalent.
- Experience with advanced data visualisation techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of DAX, Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytic
