About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data science principles, advanced technical skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic business decisions. In this role, you will focus on developing and fine-tuning predictive models, including deep learning models, to optimize key business and customer experience metrics.

You will build low-latency, cloud-based applications that support seamless integration with production systems, analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights, and communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact data products within a collaborative environment, contributing to the ongoing digital transformation at Bell and helping shape the future of telecommunications and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (GCP preferred, but transferable skills acceptable)
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code
  • Expertise in a wide range of machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Experience with popular frameworks such as scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Strong foundational knowledge of statistical methods
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline
  • Certification in cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., GCP)
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and agentic workflows
  • Proficiency in French for positions in Quebec

Responsibilities

  • Develop and fine-tune advanced predictive models, including deep learning models, to enhance business and customer experience metrics
  • Build low-latency, robust cloud-based applications supporting seamless integration with production systems
  • Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify insights and propose strategic solutions
  • Effectively communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactively seek opportunities to develop new skills and improve data science processes and methodologies

  • Identify critical needs and take decisive action to address technical challenges efficiently
