DeFi Operations Specialist

Base Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 annually

This is a full-time remote role for a DeFi Operations Specialist. You’ll keep DeFi initiatives running cleanly and predictably—bridging strategy and execution so ideas don’t die in spreadsheets. Your day-to-day will include tracking protocol positions and operational workflows, supporting DeFi strategy execution (across lending, DEX liquidity, stablecoin primitives, and emerging protocols), maintaining clear risk checks, and producing reliable reporting that helps stakeholders make fast, confident decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with ecosystem teams and internal stakeholders to ensure processes are documented, repeatable, and resilient when markets get volatile. This is NOT a paid acquisition / PR role. It’s also not a grants role—your focus is operations, execution, and risk-aware delivery.

Must-have:

• Proven DeFi experience (hands-on operations, analysis, or execution across real protocols)
• Strong understanding of DeFi protocols and strategy mechanics (liquidity, incentives, lending/borrowing, stablecoin dynamics)
• Risk basics: ability to spot and explain common DeFi risks (smart contract, liquidity, oracle, incentive, governance, stablecoin risks)
• Strong reporting habits: comfortable producing clear, consistent updates and structured summaries for stakeholders

Exclude / not a fit if your background is mainly:

• Paid acquisition / performance marketing
• PR, communications, or community-facing comms roles
• Grants sourcing, grants writing, or grants program management

Nice to have:

• Experience building or improving operational playbooks, checklists, and incident-style workflows
• Comfort working cross-functionally in a remote environment and driving things to completion without heavy supervision
