Our client is a leading firm looking for an IT Operations Specialist. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations, including user support, endpoint and system administration, network stability, cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, backups and recovery, and MSP/vendor oversight.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary IT contact for both in-office and remote users.
- Maintain endpoints (laptops, desktops, mobile devices) and core business applications.
- Oversee network infrastructure and cloud/on-premise systems, ensuring reliability and responsiveness.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats, coordinate incident response, and conduct regular drills.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Act as the main liaison with external IT service providers (MSPs), monitoring performance and managing follow-ups.
- Maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation, including access management, patching, and data-handling protocols.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field from NUS, NTU, SMU, SIT or SUTD.
- Minimum 5 years in-house IT experience supporting business users and managing core systems.
- Strong understanding of user access management, patching, backups, and incident handling.
- Experience in DevOps and a Linux background would be an advantage.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.
- Exposure to data or AI governance frameworks is a plus.
