(a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.

Role Overview

The Techno-Functional Business Analyst will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, product managers, compliance, operations, engineering teams, HR and Finance. This role requires a strong understanding of payments domain processes combined with the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specificationsfor system implementation and enhancement.

You will be deeply involved in end-to-end solution delivery—from requirements gathering and solution design to UAT and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Functional Analysis

• Work closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Client Services to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate regulatory, operational, and client requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze end-to-end payment flows including collections, payouts, FX, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; propose pragmatic solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs.

Technical & System Analysis

• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs, API requirements, and data models.
• Review and contribute to system architecture discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.
• Perform data analysis using SQL or similar tools to support investigations, reporting, and solution validation.
• Support integration with external partners such as banks, PSPs, blockchain networks, KYT/KYC vendors, and other third-party service providers.

Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery prioritization with Product and Engineering teams.
• Act as a key participant in UAT planning and execution, including test scenario creation and defect triage.
• Work closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure regulatory requirements (MAS, AML/CFT, KYT, transaction monitoring) are embedded into system design.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and system diagrams.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, technical implementation, and testing outcomes.
• Support audit, regulatory reviews, and internal controls by providing clear system and process documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Techno-Functional Analyst, or similar role in FinTech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Strong domain knowledge in payments, wallets, cross-border transfers, FX, reconciliation, or digital assets.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., MAS, AML/CFT frameworks).
• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs (REST/JSON), databases, and data flows.
• Hands-on experience writing functional specifications and supporting technical solution design.
• Ability to analyze data using SQL or similar tools is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to balance business needs, technical constraints, compliance, and delivery timelines.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with evolving requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with engineers, regulators, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with blockchain, digital payment tokens, or crypto-related payment flows.
• Exposure to KYT/KYC, transaction monitoring, or fraud systems.
• Prior experience working with regional payment schemes or cross-border banking integrations.
• Experience supporting platform scaling or greenfield system builds.
