Title: Senior Backend Engineer (JavaScript, NodeJS)

Location: Sunrise, FL(Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

Main skills:

• Main requirements: JavaScript, Node, Express and/or Fastify frameworks

• 7-10 years of experience is ideal

• Working on internal cloud functions platform, similar to AWS Lambda, would be adding features to this platform and writing code. Supporting users, debugging, solving issues, coming up with new features and direction on where they should go with the platform

• AWS or Azure experience

• Want candidates to understand how to scale and add new features

Interview process:

- Take home client-issued exercise required by client, 2 Webex interviews, JavaScript coding and may move to Nodejs coding

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices architectures to support business needs.
• Implement and optimize REST API endpoints following best practices for security and performance.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Workflows to streamline deployment processes.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions to build serverless solutions.
• Monitor system performance and implement observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.

What's Needed?

• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as Fastify or Express.
• Proven ability in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines specifically using GitHub Actions and Workflows.
• Solid experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions.
