About The Role
The Senior UX/UI Designer will play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end design initiatives that encompass user research, strategic planning, UX development, and UI execution. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, enabling the translation of complex business requirements into intuitive and visually compelling solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure seamless implementation of designs that meet both user needs and business objectives. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior designers, contributing to the development of design systems, and actively participating in usability testing, workshops, and iterative refinement processes driven by research insights. Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of UI/UX development experience
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in leading UX processes including discovery, research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-fidelity UI designs and design system development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders at all levels
- Experience collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Ability to translate user needs and business goals into innovative design solutions
- Familiarity with research, analytics, and iterative design methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive UX processes such as discovery, user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
- Translate complex user needs and business objectives into clear, engaging, and functional designs
- Create high-fidelity UI designs, components, and contribute to the development of design system assets
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and collaborative sessions to foster innovative solutions
- Utilize research data, analytics, and user feedback to refine and improve design outcomes iteratively
- Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure precise implementation of design specifications
- Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior designers, promoting best practices and continuous learning within the team
