At Yokogawa, project management is about more than planning and reporting. It’s about bringing people, technology, and purpose together to deliver complex automation projects that support safer, smarter, and more sustainable industries.

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of national and international projects, working closely with customers, engineers, and partners across borders. You will lead diverse project teams, balance technical and commercial priorities, and play a key role in turning strategy into execution.

What you will do

In this role, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle:

  • Own project timelines, budgets, quality, and risk management
  • Act as the central link between customers, internal teams, and external partners
  • Prepare project plans, risk analyses, and clear status reporting
  • Take responsibility for both technical delivery and commercial performance
  • Track, analyze, and report project KPIs

What you bring

You are a structured and pragmatic project manager with a strong sense of ownership:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in project management, ideally in automation or industrial environments
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
  • A structured, solution-oriented way of working and strong communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take responsibility
  • Flexibility to travel based on project needs

What we offer

At Yokogawa, you will find a stable, forward-looking organization with room to grow:

  • A permanent position in a future-oriented, global company
  • Challenging projects with well-known international customers
  • Flat hierarchies and fast decision-making
  • Flexible working hours and home office options
  • Individual development and training opportunities
