Job Title: AI Automation & Data Science Specialist

Overview: Are you passionate about the future of intelligent automation and machine learning? Join our dynamic financial services team as an AI Automation & Data Science Specialist. In this forward-facing role, you will spearhead a range of initiatives merging advanced analytics, generative AI, automation, and responsible AI practices. You'll be instrumental in shaping decision frameworks and operational enhancements as we build a resilient, ethical, and innovative data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Intelligent Process Automation & Workflow Optimization

  • Design, implement, and oversee end-to-end automation solutions utilizing Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows), with a focus on intelligent document processing (IDP).
  • Leverage AI-powered tools such as AI Builder and Azure Form Recognizer to streamline data extraction and workflow handling across multiple business functions (Operations, Finance, Risk, etc.).
  • Integrate advanced generative AI models and services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, custom GPTs) into business automation and document automation solutions.

Machine Learning & Generative AI Implementation

  • Build, deploy, and maintain predictive models, classification engines, and document summarization systems using both machine learning and GenAI techniques.
  • Perform robust feature engineering, model evaluation, and manage lifecycle retraining practices.
  • Innovate with large language models (LLMs), optimizing them for various banking and compliance scenarios through fine-tuning and advanced prompt engineering.

AI Policy & Risk Management

  • Partner with IT, compliance, risk, and legal teams to establish and refine AI/ML governance standards.
  • Define and document best practices for model auditability, ethical AI usage, policy formation, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, DORA, etc.).
  • Monitor system usage to ensure continuous alignment with risk management principles and governance expectations.

Secure Data Infrastructure

  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to develop secure, scalable AI/ML environments, incorporating sandbox testing and robust data protection measures.
  • Facilitate the safe adoption of both internally-trained models and third-party AI services within the Microsoft technology ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Teamwork & Knowledge Sharing

  • Serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert for data-driven automation and AI projects across departments.
  • Translate business needs into technical data solutions and promote best practices in responsible AI adoption.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to asset reusability by developing shareable code, workflows, and model artifacts.

Who You Are:

  • An innovative thinker with a natural curiosity about data science, automation, and new technologies.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering under tight deadlines in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with a talent for engaging diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Skilled at questioning conventional approaches and proposing creative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, or closely related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation, machine learning, and data science roles.
  • Professional background in financial services or banking, including familiarity with financial product data.
  • Demonstrated ability to build automation flows using Power Automate and develop IDP solutions with tools like AI Builder or Azure Form Recognizer.
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI implementations (e.g., working with LLMs like OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, and custom GPT applications).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for model development, data analytics, and automation scripting.
  • Exposure to AI governance practices, with experience drafting AI risk and compliance documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure tools (e.g., Azure ML, Azure OpenAI) is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of Git/version control and MLOps/DevOps workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong ethical mindset and enthusiasm for advancing responsible, compliant AI technology.

What’s Offered:

  • A vibrant role within a diverse team, working in an international and innovative setting.
  • Generous vacation package and annual bonus.
  • Comprehensive retirement, health, and wellness benefits.
  • Professional development resources, including a dedicated learning budget.
  • Modern tech tools including company laptop and mobile device.
